Sargento-branded food trucks called Just Cheesin’ would appear in downtown areas with heavy foot traffic. They would serve everyday foods “made magnificent” by completely drowning them with cheese. Food on the menu would range from something as simple as a broccoli floret or celery stick covered with cheese, to grilled cheese sandwiches and cheeseburgers loaded so high with cheese that they’re almost impossible to eat.
The idea easily lends itself to creating its own social media page, as well as trending hashtags on Twitter and Instagram. Videos could be made of Just Cheesin’ showing up in downtown areas and record people’s reactions to the over-the-top entrées, as well as their failed attempts at eating them. These videos would be posted to social media pages for followers to share with their friends to help explain their experience. The event could even cause enough of a stir to get news coverage, adding an element of public relations.
Small-business owners are always out to find a better way to provide quality benefits to their employees for less. The Assurant Self-Funded Program allows employers to pick the benefits they want to include for their group, leaving them with a custom health plan tailored to fit their needs.
It's a fresh, unique alternative to the traditional, expensive group medical plan. Our challenge was to make it look and feel that way.

The simple, direct headlines, combined with elegant design and tasteful use of white space, set Assurant Health apart as a progressive, modern brand.
Assurant Health's supplemental coverage products help customers pay for big expenses they never could have planned for. Things like accidents, heart attacks and strokes don't exactly warn you before they happen. They're a real danger, and they could happen to anyone.
This email series targeting sales agents uses a down-to-earth, colloquial tone to explain how each Assurant Supplemental Coverage product helps customers plan for a real-life need.
When we found out our agents lacked good reasons to sell Dental coverage, we responded with this engaging email campaign.
Inspired by the ever-so-popular Buzzfeed lists, which are a huge social-media success, I wrote a list of 15 reasons focusing on why an agent should want to sell Dental coverage.
Two emails were sent containing one reason from the list, begging the question, "What are the other reasons?" Agents can view the full list by clicking the button near the bottom of the email. They can also click another button taking them to our online quoting tool, if they're ready to dig in even deeper.

It's a fact of life: Accidents and critical illnesses happen, and they don't ask if you're ready for them to come around. Unfortunately, they also tend to happen more often as we age, and no one wants to place the financial burden of treatment on themselves or the ones they love. That's why National General chose to offer Short Term Care, a plan that helps customers pay for costs encountered from treatment at nursing home facilities, adult day care, and more.
This new product gave me the opportunity to write original copy targeting customers in a specific age demographic (ages 45-60). I wrote and designed this brochure with the intention of reassuring the reader that while they can't control the future, they can have a plan to help them pay for the unexpected.
At National General, we were tasked with the challenging responsibility of building new Websites for both the individual and group health insurance lines. And that gave me the opportunity to write original Web copy for both of these new Websites. Using National General's brand voice, I crafted informative copy that helps simplify the normally complicated world of health insurance.
